In December 2004 Park Resorts fairway holiday park isle of wight was sold to Resources for ₤ 165 million, and its activities were combined with the GB Vacation Parks company (itself purchased by ABN AMRO for ₤ 105 million simply one month previously) to form the second-largest campers park driver in the UK. The name 'Park Resorts' was preserved as the company name and brand title. Park Resorts was a vacation park driver with 48 holiday parks situated across the UK.
